You never knew they lied to you in confessions
now they harass you and sieze your possesions.
For they are the murderers that stalk the church
snatching souls through the shadowy aisles is where they lurk.
Amber eyes of sinners burning through the gloom
gaunt eyes looking through tears of doom.

Now darkened shapes appear upon the astral plane
emerging from a trance the demons begin to dance

evil spirits of death swoop down, Angels transcend.

raging demons scream away the image never dies.

I've seen the promised land before
where the sun never sets and Angel's soar

Candy Caravan

Somewhere eons elsewhere the trial began
the people sat down to judge the caravan.
The caravan was formed to protect the guilty ones
against the law they fought with gilded guns.
All day the'd sit eating candy coated mints
all day they'd trip seeing purple paradise tints.
Always to the elves they talked
always through themselves they walked.

Daydreams After Night

I told the peasants that I live in my daydreams after night
where visions of distant lands appear in sight.
Last night I dreamed a holy dream
all that moved was the wind and a sparkling stream.
The sky arched high above me bright with tantalizing stars
across its black dome
the fiercer stars shone
and I saw the streak of light
they call the highway of galaxy cars.
About me stretched a field bitten by wind
and sown with trees of thorns
the stars drifted night and starlight
melting into a blur of unicorns.
The heavens breathed and the galaxy
gathered and narrowed into a shaft of light
I then found myself in a hall of golden pillars
that split the night.
The shattered pieces fell and splashed into my brain
from the inside I watched as they entered my domain.
The Kings and Queens came
the priests and princes did the same.
I told them that I live in my daydreams after night
where visions of distant lands are my delight.

Divinity Of Evil

Ghastly he stands before me with a wolfish grin
his eyes they shine from within.
His gaze burns and burns like fiery coals
you better beware or he'll take your soul.
He's a devil in the flesh a divinity of Hell
the blackest of sins will take you to Hell.
Through the fire and the burning smoke
the powers of evil he invokes.
A demonic darkness rushing forward as he commands
the cup of wrath held in his hands.
A sip from the cup, it sears like boiling oil
seconds later blood splatters on the mist blown soil.

Dreamworld

Last night I dreamed a dream
that out does any dream I've ever dreamed before
This morning I awoke lost and confused in a distant land
on a long foregotten shore.
Within seconds I saw a silver dragon
and seven turtles crawl from beneath the sea
one of the turtles smiled in my direction
and laughed in playful glee.
So I ran and ran as far as my feet could run
exhausted and spent I laid down beneath the brilliant rays of the sun.
Soon I found myself walking farther still
and I felt an overwhelming happiness, I do confess
I walked amid the flowers and towering trees
of a wild and thriving wilderness.
Hours that seemed like minutes passed
and something terrible formed in the sky
with razor-sharp teeth it whizzed on by
I could be mistaken but I'm pretty sure it was a screaming butterfly.
After that most frightening experience I saw something even more bizarre
I saw a chameleon wearing a golden crown and pretending to be a russian czar.
He sat way up above reciting poetry on a gnarled and dying branch
he told me he learned them from an indian that lives far away,
beyond the chesterfield ranch.
I asked him for directions and told him of the flying beast
he told me to discontinue my present course and to then proceed due east.
I questioned him with great curiosity about this so called chesterfield place
I waited and waited for his reply but only silence swept his face.
So I waved and said my final farewell and went on my merry way
what caused the chameleons mouth to clam up so tight? no one can really say.
I am sorry to tell you that the rest of my dream I have sadly foregotten
all I know is that I travel along a pebbled path and that my pet rabbits name is peter cotten.

Emerald tears of love trapped inside a mystery
break the chains walk away from gloomy majesty.
